With over 35 years of successful development experience in mixed-use developments, subdivision development, build to suit, and commercial investment, MDIC has projects throughout the Midwest and West.
Beginning in the 80’s with a background in subdivision acquisition, planning, entitlement, development and marketing, MDIC has its origins in the Arizona land market. Over the years, MDIC has been a consultant to property owners and investors overseeing the disposition or redevelopment of projects in Hawaii, Mexico and the United States.
MDIC specializes in all phases of acquisition and development of residential and commercial projects. We purchase raw ground for planning, entitlement, and development of residential, mixed use residential, and commercial developments. MDIC is also an investor for existing value-add commercial projects.

Alan Marks
Founder and President
With over 35 years of successful development experience in mixed-use developments, subdivision development, build to suit, and commercial investment, Alan has successfully developed and been a principal in projects throughout the West and Midwest. Not only does he have a strong background in development and investment, he also has experience in marketing and sales having been a top performer with Grubb & Ellis Commercial in the Phoenix Market – land sales. Alan and his team have developed well in excess of thousands of residential lots and numerous commercial projects.
His ongoing successful track record in the Real Estate industry demonstrates outstanding skills in leadership, project management, negotiation, marketing management, and risk management.
Ye Shi (Linlin)
Principal and Managing Partner
Linlin is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with more than 20 years of domestic and international management and accounting experience and is the recipient of many national awards in the fields of Accounting and Management.
She plays an active role in the day-to-day management of MDIC’s various projects.
